Visit Kourion and the Sanctuary of Apollon Hylates

We begin our journey with a comfortable drive toward the south-west coast, where the ruins of Kourion crown a cliff high above the Mediterranean.
This once-powerful city-kingdom dates back to the 2nd century BC and offers one of the most impressive archaeological experiences on the island.

Walk through the grand Greco-Roman theatre, still used for concerts today. Step inside ancient villas and admire floor mosaics depicting gladiators, myths, and daily life.
You’ll also visit the baths, the Agora, and panoramic lookout points where blue sea meets timeless stone.

After Kourion, we continue just a short drive to the Sanctuary of Apollon Hylates – a peaceful, partly restored temple complex set in pine-covered hills.
This site was once a major religious centre, dedicated to Apollo as god of forests, health, and light.
Stroll through colonnades, altars, and the remains of a once-bustling pilgrimage route.
The quiet and beauty of this place offer space to reflect – and to imagine ancient worshippers walking the same paths.

• We will pick you up at your hotel or arrange a meeting point with you.
• We will then take you on your tour, without the stress, hectic pace and time pressure of other guests. Of course, we will show you the famous buildings, but we will not forget to show you some of the really interesting places to take pictures. We’ll find out what really interests and excites you. So our tour with you is very personal. Don’t worry, we won’t tell you any novels about the historical buildings, we’ll just give you some information and give you time to take in the impressions and / or take photos.
• We will pick you up at your hotel about 9:00. Please bring comfortable shoes with you
• All in all, the tour lasts about 7 hours, it depends on you, because this event is only for you and your family, partner or friends that you book in.

(e.g. Oroklini – Pyla – Livadia – Larnaca City). Pick up is also possible for more distant routes, but we will then charge a small surcharge.
