It really does look completely different, green and overgrown with moss, almost like a jungle. The most adventurous part is the access to the waterfall. The path that leads to the waterfall ends at the back of the waterfall, so you can get to the front of the waterfall through a small tunnel 4 to 5 metres long. An adventure, but well worth it! A footbridge has recently been built around the waterfall so that you no longer have to walk through the tunnel.

The Kremiotis waterfall is a true natural wonder in a picturesque setting. The waters of the Kremiotis River cascade over the rocks all year round and have created a beautiful green landscape reminiscent of tropical areas.

The Kremiotis waterfall is located at an altitude of 570 metres and can be reached in a short time from the car park via a secluded nature trail. The path winds through lush and wild vegetation with a variety of shrubs, trees and flowers, some of which are unique to this region. The variety of flora and fauna will delight everyone.

Just as fascinating as the waterfall is its history. In 1930, a villager who owned fields in the area wanted to use the water from one of the four water mills that the waterfall powered to irrigate his fields. He chopped away the rock to create a cave that led to the idyllic waterfall. Over the course of time, the cave became smaller and stalactites and stalagmites formed, which today make up the charm of the cave.

• We will pick you up at your hotel or arrange a meeting point with you. We will then take you on our exploration tour, without the stress, hectic pace and time pressure of other guests. Of course, by the way, we will not forget to show you interesting places to take pictures. We’ll find out what really interests and excites you. So our tour with you is very personal. Don’t worry, we won’t tell you any novels about the history, we’ll just give you some information and give you time to take in the impressions and / or take photos.
• Lunch in Restaurant or Picknick:  If you prefer not to eat meat, vegetarian or vegan options are also available.
• We will pick you up at your hotel at 8:00. We won’t be doing any long walks, but you’ll still want to wear suitable footwear and, depending on the time of year, bring a hat or cap to protect you from the sun, or a jacket in case it gets a bit chilly. All in all, the tour lasts between 6 and 7 hours, it depends on you, because this event is only for you and your family, partner or friends that you book in.
