Kumbor – Montenegro
Actually, we wanted to sail from Korcula to Cavtat, the last port in Croatia, so that we could leave there properly. On the way there, we passed Dubrownik and were able to marvel at the fortifications that served King’s Landing in the Game of Thrones series from the sea. The day at sea was totally relaxed and twice we had the pleasure of seeing dolphins close to the boat. On the other hand, Croatia remained an unpleasant memory,
because we could neither dock in Cavtat nor take care of the customs formalities. It would have taken 2 hours to get back to Dubrovnik, so we simply left Croatia and entered Montenegro. At customs we briefly explained the situation, everyone there was very friendly, and we entered the country. But here, too, everything was quite expensive: a daily fee to be allowed to use the waters, i.e. a daily vignette for the Adriatic, a proud 34 euros. But the marina is only half as expensive as in Croatia, but twice as beautiful. A nice evening in the marina bar, in the morning refuelling at 8:00, then customs and departure, because Albania was planned as the next day’s destination.
