Limassol – Coastal Energy, Medieval Power

We begin our journey in the old town of Limassol, where restored buildings, local shops, and urban energy come together.
Here you’ll visit the Limassol Castle, a sturdy medieval fortress believed to be the place where Richard the Lionheart married Berengaria of Navarre – making her Queen of England right here on Cypriot soil.

The castle now hosts a small museum showcasing Cyprus’ medieval past, and its rooftop offers wonderful views over the city and coastline.

As we stroll through the surrounding streets, you’ll see how modern life wraps around ancient history: restored warehouses, local boutiques, traditional workshops, and vibrant street scenes.

Next, we leave the city for a short drive inland to Kolossi Castle – one of the most iconic military structures on the island. Once under the control of the Knights of St. John and the Templars, it served as a strategic base and even helped give rise to Commandaria wine, one of the oldest named wines still in production.

This stop includes a full visit to the castle’s interior, its spiral staircases, towers, and views over the surrounding landscape.
Afterwards, we return at your pace – perhaps with a short coastal drive before your drop-off.

• We will pick you up at your hotel or arrange a meeting point with you. We will then take you on your tour, without the stress, hectic pace and time pressure of other guests. Of course, we will show you the famous buildings, but we will not forget to show you some of the really interesting places to take pictures. We’ll find out what really interests and excites you. So our tour with you is very personal. Don’t worry, we won’t tell you any novels about the historical buildings, we’ll just give you some information and give you time to take in the impressions and / or take photos.
• We will pick you up at your hotel about 9:00.
• All in all, the tour lasts about 6 to 6.5 hours, it depends on you, because this event is only for you and your family, partner or friends that you book in.

We will be happy to pick you up from your hotel free of charge if you are staying in the Perivolia/Kiti area, Limassol or in Larnaca Destrict
(e.g. Oroklini – Pyla – Livadia – Larnaca City). Pick up is also possible for more distant routes, but we will then charge a small surcharge.
