What’s waiting for you:
We’ll kick off our adventure at the impressive Paphos Gate, the historic entrance to the city surrounded by well-preserved medieval walls. Here, you’ll witness the fortified border and the UN-patrolled No-Man’s-Land. A short drive takes us to the heart of Nicosia’s old town. After a brief walk through the bustling pedestrian area, we reach the Ledra Street border crossing. After passport control, you’ll step into a completely different world.
On the northern side, you’ll find countless small shops to explore, as well as magnificent medieval buildings like the old caravanserai Büyük Han, a grand mosque, and stately buildings now housing museums and a bazaar. Discover these treasures at your own pace.
Before we head back to the south, you can decide to take a delicious Turkish lunch in one of the many authentic restaurants.
