Zenobia Wreck in Cyprus
The Zenobia sank to the seabed in the early hours of June 7, 1980. She rests on her port side at a maximum depth of 42m (45m inboard) and her starboard side is shallowest at 16m. The scale of the wreck means there are so many different dives possible, before you can explore all areas of this amazing dive site. The outside of the wreck has so much to look at with the 2 massive propellers, roro doors, trucks on the outside, funnels, bridge, cafeteria, bow area and accommodation.

Your Adventure Dive at Zenobia Wreck
Once in the harbour, we will help you prepare your equipment and stow it on board. The trip from the harbour to the wreck of the Zenobia takes only a few minutes and the sea is usually quite calm in the morning. Once at the wreck, we moor to a buoy and the line leads directly to the wreck, so you can descend on the line and equalise your pressure at your leisure.

Depending on your level of experience and certification, we will descend to the wreck to see the trucks lashed to the deck, the Davids with the lifeboats, the large loading ramp, the propeller and much more. If you wish, we can also dive into the large cafeteria or the cabin deck where you can see the exit at any time. During our dive we will be accompanied by schools of fish, large groupers, often barracudas and turtles and of course lion fish. The second dive is not the same as the first, we usually move the dive boat around so you can explore completely different areas.

 

 

Please note

• We will pick you up at your hotel or arrange a meeting point with you. We will pick you up at your hotel at a time, that we´re at 8:30 at the harbor. Depending on how far away your hotel is, you will need in all between 5.5 and 6 hours.We will then take you on your Adventure Dive, without the stress, hectic pace and time pressure of other guests. So our dive with you is very personal.
• Your needed equipment ist included. Please let us know your clothing and shoe size when you book. Soft drinks are also included .
• To participate in this event, you must be at least 16 years old and fill out a health questionnaire. For minors, a parent or guardian must be present at the event.
• To take part in the Adventure Dive Event you must already hold a diving certification from a recognised diving organisation. Don’t have a dive certification? No problem, join the Discover Scuba Diving / Try Dive Event and discover the underwater world of this beautiful dive site.

(e.g. Oroklini – Pyla – Livadia – Larnaca City). Pick up is also possible for more distant routes, but we will then charge a small surcharge.
